Our office, located at 1901 First Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101, is in the Bankers Hill neighborhood, just north of downtown, near Interstate 5. The building is on the east side of First Avenue between Fir Street and Grape Street. It’s important to note that in this block, First Avenue is a one-way street (going north).
From I-5 South: take Exit 17 / Front Street, Civic Center, which turns into Front Street. Turn left at the first light, which is Cedar Street, then turn left at the first street, which is First Avenue going north. Proceed north two blocks to Fir Street. The entrance to the Visitor’s parking garage will be on your immediate right after you cross Fir.
From I-5 North: take Exit 16B / Sixth Avenue. The exit ramp turns into Elm Street, going west. The first light will be Sixth Avenue. Stay on Elm Street for four blocks. At Second Avenue, turn right/north and go one block. At Fir Street, turn left/west and go one block to First Avenue. Turn right onto First Avenue. The entrance to the Visitor’s parking garage will be on your immediate right.
There is generally not a lot of available street parking, so you will most likely want to park in the Visitor’s parking garage. The entrance to the Visitor’s parking garage is located on First Avenue near the corner of First and Fir Street. During regular business hours, the gate should be up. You do not need to take a ticket or pay anything in order to parking in the Visitor’s parking garage. After you’ve parked, take the parking garage elevator up to the first floor and check in with the first floor receptionist, who will direct you to the conference room where we will be meeting.
When You Leave
The gate on the Visitor’s parking garage is closed at approximately 5:30 p.m. on weekdays. If the gate happens to be down when you are leaving the parking garage, just drive slowly towards the gate and it will sense your vehicle and open automatically. Please remember you can only turn to your right upon exiting the parking garage (recall that First Avenue is a one-way street here).
